In March of 1910, Peter traveled from Brigham City, Utah to Mountain View, Cardston, Alberta, Canada to visit the farm of his son, Andrew Neas, where Peter died the following September. Peter was buried in the local Mountain View Cemetery, adjacent to the grave of his youngest son Henry Neas (1877-1904).
