Vida L. Simpson, 70, of Bentonville,, died Thursday at her home. She was born April 13, 1933 in Hollis, OK to Robert Greer and Lola C Garton Cummins.
She owned and operated Creative Beginnings Ceramic Shop. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, the VFW of Cave Springs and Believers Community Baptist Church of Rogers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby J Simpson; one brother, A.B. Cummins; and two sisters, Hazel Boydston and Wanda Masters.
Survivors include one daughter Nikki Smith of the home Three brothers, John Cummins of Rogers, Troy Cummins of Phoenix, and Cecil Cummins of Hollis, OK.;
four sisters, Sue Jordan, Naomi Fuller and Gayle Smith all of Rogers and Marielle Perkins of Ozark, MO and three grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. today at Bentonville Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Simpson and Rebecca Bowman officiating. Memorials may be made to St Mary's Hospice, in care of Benton County Funeral Home, 229 S. Main, Bentonville, AR. 72712
