His WW I draft card was filled out on 5 Jun 1914. Served in World War 1. He married Rebecca Viola Bradshaw. They had four children: Marshall Malcolm b.11/5/1920, Winfred Edgar b.7/7/1923, Wilson Edgar Jr. b.11/14/1925, and Charles Ray b.6/13/1931. He passed away in Statesville, Iredell Co., NC, as Wilson Edward Hass.
