He was born Oct. 3, 1916 in Newport to the late Emory and Sarah (Baker) Holley.
He was retired from TRW, Harrisburg; an aircraft hydraulic mechanic for the U.S. government during World War II; and a member of Newport First Church of God, where he was a lifetime elder.
He was the widower of Melissa Potter Holley and Anna Freeland Holley.
Surviving are two sons, Larry J. Holley and his wife Janet, and Dennis A. Holley and his wife Nancy; a stepson, Donald Baker of Stonington, Conn.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Services were held June 10 in his church with the Rev. Cheryl Dorman officiating. Burial was in Bloomfield Cemetery.
