Mary Kirkpatrick of Bluford Dies at Age 97 Years
Mrs. Mary F. Kirkpatrick, 97, of Bluford died at 10:00 pm Sunday at the Schumm Nursing Home in Bluford.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Tuesday at the Bluford Funeral Home with the Rev. Ross Partridge and the Rev. Paul Dann, Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Black Oak Ridge cemetery, near Bluford.
The body will lie in state at the Bluford Funeral Home where friends may call at any time.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was born Sept. 17, 1864, in Jefferson county, the daughter of William P. and Margaret J. (Dagg) Davis.
On Sept. 30, 1883, she married John Ethington, who preceded her in death. She later married James L. Kirkpatrick, who also preceded her in death.
She is survived by one brother, W.R. Davis of Bluford and several nephews.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a member of the First Baptist church of Bluford.
