Well Known Business Man Succumbs to Paralysis.
Alden A. Baker, 67 years old, one of the oldest and best known businessmen of Kansas City, Mo., died at 9 o’clock yesterday morning at his home, 913 Holmes street. He was stricken with paralysis about three years ago, and never recovered from his illness, which finally caused his death.

At that time Mr. Baker left Topeka and came to Kansas city and was elected director in the new corporation, assuming a position as one of the active managers of the business. This position he held to the present time.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife and daughter, Miss Stella Baker, two brothers, Harlow W. Baker, of this city and E. P. Baker of Topeka and a sister, Mrs. F. Bixby, who resides in Los Angeles. The funeral will be held in Elmwood cemetery.—Kansas City Journal.
