John W. Davis, 75, of 1751 Scotland Ave. died yesterday at home.

He was retired from International Brotherhood Electrical Workers Local 143, Harrisburg, where he was an electrician; was a Tremont High School graduate; an Army veteran of World War II; and a member of First Lutheran Church, General James F&AM Lodge 801, VFW Post 1599, Kittochtinny Historical Society, Elks Lodge 600, Cumberland Valley Amateur Radio Club, Tremont American Legion Post 384 and the National Association of Civilian Conservation Corps.

Surviving are his wife, M. Rose Davis; a son, John C of Columbia, Md.; a daughter, Mildred Shatzer of Mechanicsburg; five grandsons; and five great-granddaughters.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of his church. Burial with military
honors will be in Donaldson Cemetery, Donaldson.

Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Park-Gelsel Funeral Home.
