Andrew moved from Windham to Norwich, Connecticut with his wife and several children and died there in 1883. He continued to work as a shoemaker throughout his life and lived on Otrobando Avenue in Norwich in his later years. His grandaughter, Alice (Wilson) Tufts, lived nearby on Otrobando Avenue in 1880.
