Mrs. Ladenburg died Sunday, Sept. 26, 1993, from injuries received in a
one-car accident south of Aledo near the border of Mercer and Warren counties,
just west of Ill. 94.
The former LuAnne C. Posateri was born May 20, 1953, in Moline, the daughter
of August and Sylvia Jean Welch Posateri. She married Michael Baker July 7,
1977, in Las Vegas, Nev. She married William Ladenburg May 20, 1989, in
Columbia Falls, Mont.
She attended Rock Island High School and a business school in Davenport for
one year, where she studied computers.
She was a former realtor with Boeye Realtors, Rock Island.
She was active in the PTA in the Rockridge School District.
She enjoyed cooking, camping and fishing.
Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Courtney Baker, and sons, Carson
Baker, and John Ladenburg, all at home; her parents, Milan; grandparents,
Aletha and Franklin Abbott, Orion; a sister, Michol VanDeWostine, Lynn Center,
Ill.; brother, James Posateri, Milan, and Michael Posateri, Reynolds; and
several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
