ADAMS, Margaret W., 89, passed away January 17, 2012 at RiverWoods in Exeter after a long illness. She was born October 25, 1922 in Fort Payne, AL., daughter of the late Acie and Catherine (Jones) Worthy. Margaret grew up in Alabama where she met Richard Adams, while he was serving in the military. They settled in Needham, MA and later in Hingham, MA. Margaret and Richard retired to Palm Harbor, FL. They spent summers on Lake Winnipesaukee. Margaret especially enjoyed playing bridge and golfing. She was predeceased by her loving husband who died in 2007, and her three brothers, A.C. Worthy, Aubie Worthy and Billie Worthy. Margaret is survived by her son and his girlfriend, Stanley Adams and Laura Engle of Windham, NH, son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Stephanie Adams of Lee, NH, grandchildren, Eric, Keith, and Brian, lifelong friend, Lucille Matthews. At Margaret's request, there are no calling hours or funeral services scheduled. Inurnment will be in the Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor, FL.
