The Rev. William Edward McGregor, 84-year-old retired Baptist minister, died at his home in Bulls Gap on Friday morning, December 11.
Mr. McGregor was pastor of Bulls Gap Baptist Church for 34 years and had held pastorates in a number of other East Tennessee churches.
He is survived by his wife; two sons, the Rev John McGregor pastor of Pleasant Grove Church, Maryville and W. C. McGregor, El Paso, Texas; four daughters, Mrs. Lora Hale Aldridge, Hilton, W. Va., Mrs. Cora Mae Martin, Washington, D. C., Mrs. Emma Webb, Clemson, S. C. and Mrs. Lillian Wilson, Cincinnati, O.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Julia Hensessee, McMinnville.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Bulls Gap Baptist Church with interment in McCullough Cemetery.
