Lyle was born Dec. 2, 1931, to Ralph and Lenora Wildman Waite. On Nov. 7, 1953, he married Marilyn Packer.
He is survived by his wife; three grandsons; two great-grandchildren; sister and brother-in-law, Marilou and Michael Wasilewski, Springfield, Ill.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Arlyn and Carol Waite, Indian Rock Springs, Fla., Neil and Linda Waite, Hobe Sound, Fla., and Joe and Cheri Waite, Prophetstown.
