Michael William Boland, 58 years old, passed away Friday night, March 19, 1954, at St. Margaret's Hospital. He was a lifelong resident of Kansas City, Kansas. He had worked as a tool dresser for the Board of Public Utilities and had been an employee for 32 years. Mr. Boland served with the US Army in World War I.

He left his wife, Kathlyn, and three sons, John, Robert and Michael Jr., all of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Rich, of Wyandotte County, and a sister, Mrs. Anna Robinette, of 3041 East 31st in Kansas City. A Rosary was prayed at the Joseph A. Butler's Sons Chapel. The Funeral Mass was celebrated from St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church where Mr. Boland had been a member.
