CLEO V. ALLEY, 88, of Memphis, retired employee of Tennessee Department of Employment Security, died of heart failure Saturday at St. Peter Villa. Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Therese-Little Flower Catholic Church with burial in Calvary. Memphis Funeral Home Union Chapel has charge. She leaves a sister, Rose Mary Tracy, and a brother, Charles A. Tracy, both of Memphis. The family requests that any memorials be sent to the charity of the donor's choice. Daughter of Florence Kesterson (1881–1975) of Memphis, Tennessee, and John Benjamin Alley (1878–1956)of Saline County, Arkansas, although she was raised by her mother and stepfather Charles Alva Tracy (1887–1943). Cleo never married, and lived with her sister Rose Mary Tracy (1921–2006) who was also single. Cleo was an avid geneologist who spent much of her time after retiring researching the Alley family. Cleo and Rose Mary enjoyed traveling together and visited many places such as the North West Pacific, Canada, Alaska/Yukon, Artic's Point Barrow, and attended the Alley Family Reunion in Texas.
