Our home seems wrecked without her, but we realize that God needed her or else he would have left her with us and it seems that he always takes the best away; but she has gone to realms above.

CARD OF THANKS.
We wish to express our thankfulness to our friends for their love and kindness to us during the illness and death of our beloved wife and mother, Mrs. Sallie Shearer.
We especially thank the doctors and nurses of Magee Hospital, and also wish to express our appreciation for the beautiful floral offerings. May our many prayers be for you all.

Question came up to whether the parent's attached were hers. They are. Sallie's parents are correct and so is her sister, Florence's. These two daughter's headstone birth dates are within 9 months of each other. The mother's obituary states that her daughter, Mrs. Sidney Shearer preceded her in death by one week. The obituary for Florence says she was 100 so her birth year would have been 1880 not 1882.
1900 census has Sallie's birth date as Mar 1882 and her headstone has 7 Mar 1882.
