Frances Bailey Anderson (1917 - 2012)
Frances Bailey Anderson, 94, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012. She was surrounded by her family Graveside service: 11 a.m. Monday in Parkdale Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Arlington Funeral Home. Memorials: Donations may be made in Frances' memory to Christ's Haven for Children, Box 467, Keller, Texas, 76244.
Frances was born to Phillip and Willie Ray Bailey in Arlington on Nov. 19, 1917. She graduated from North Texas Agricultural College in June 1937. Frances went to work in Dallas, where she met her husband of 68 years, Tip Anderson. They were married on Oct. 6, 1942. She was a devoted member of Richland Hills Church of Christ. Frances lived a full and rich life. She was very supportive, caring and nurturing. She was a loving mother and a doting grandmother and great-grandmother. Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Tip Anderson, and son-in-law, Dwayne Needham.
Survivors: Daughters, Phyllis Needham and Louise Oakerson and husband, Jim; granddaughters, Lisa Wheeler and husband, Jamie, Kendra Dabelic and husband, Jerko, and Kayce Herndon and husband, Woody; grandson, David Needham and wife, Kindra; and great-grandchildren, Lauren, Sydney, Kamryn, Abigail, Anna Lea, Anderson, Rayne, Ivo and Ane.
