Other survivors include three daughters, Patricia (John) Rowley, Kathleen (Keith) Rauhaus and Susan (Thomas) Wright; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Leo Hietter and James (Mary) Hietter; one sister, Rose (Robert) Koller; and a son-in-law, Terry Tracy.
Thomas was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ann Tracy; two brothers, infant Emmanuel and Earl Hietter; and his twin sister, Frances Hart.
He was a mechanic, working for Downtown Chevrolet in Peoria and then a millwright at Keystone Steel & Wire Co. for 23 years, retiring in 1982.
He served in World War II as a medic in the Army Air Corps.
