Before his illness, he had owned and operated show repair shops in Conway and Baden, PA.
Member of Our Lady of Peace Church. Was buried in Fair Oaks Cemetery which became Good Samaritan Cemetery.
Survived by 2 daughters Olive Magnone (Baden, PA), Mrs. Elsa Danello (Monaco); 5 sons Edmond Cercone (Youngstown, OH), Romeo Cercone (Freedom, PA), Tullio Cercone (Conway), Bruno Cercone (New Brighton), and Arsenio Cercone (Baden, PA), as well as 19 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Also survived by 2 sisters Mrs. Frances Lucente and Mrs. Modestene Cercone (both Youngstown, OH), and a broth Umberto Cercone (Denver, CO).
Preceeded in death by his wife Angeline Mariani Cercone who died before he immigrated to the US.
