LUTHER A. HAMILTON

A graveside service for Luther A. Hamilton, 96, of Watonga, will be 2 p.m. Friday in Altona Cemetery, Altona. The Rev. Carl King will officiate. Arrangements are by Russworm Funeral Home, Watonga.

He was born June 14, 1909, in Comanche to James C. and Lucinda Hamilton and died Tuesday, May 16, 2006, at his home.

He attended school in Cedar Valley.

He married Virgie Lou Smith. They lived in the Greenfield area. He was a farmer. They moved to Watonga in 1969.

Surviving are three sons, Bob Hamilton, Leon Hamilton and Bill Hamilton, all of Watonga; two daughters, Geraldine Wilhite and Barbara Blunk, both of Watonga; 12 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, four sisters and one brother.
