Robert "Jeff" Brewer, 88, of Baytown, passed away Sunday, October 7, 2007.
He is preceded in death by Dorothy Brewer; granddaughter, Laura Cooley; parents, Robert and Sarah Brewer; brothers, Alfred, James and Walter Brewer; sisters, Viola Brewer and Faye Paden.
He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Cooley and husband Chris of Pearland; son, Jeff Brewer and wife Kim of McKinney, Tx.; grandchildren, Jessica Skidmore and husband Jeremy of McKinney and Martin Brewer and wife Jennifer of Pearland; great-grandchildren, Lindy Skidmore, Laney Skidmore and Landon Skidmore all of McKinney; brother, Wilford Brewer and wife Frankie of Baytown; sister-in-law, Yslita Brewer of Baytown; and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m., at Earthman Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Martin Brewer, Jeremy Skidmore, Dennis Brewer, Buddy Bruner, J.D. Avant and Billy Brewer.
In lieu of usual remembrances, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Fund, 4543 Post Oak Place Drive #125, Houston, Texas.
