PROVO--Mrs. Ruby Baird Andersen, 45, active L. D. S. church worker, died Sunday night at Utah Valley hospital following a heart attack.

She was born March 4, 1902, in Syracuse, Davis county, a daughter of James Hyrum and Margaret Ellen Randall Baird.

After finishing her education she taught school four years, two years in Sevier county and two years in Ogden.

She married to Reuben Andersen, June 9, 1927, in L. D. S. Salt Lake temple. The family came to Provo in 1935.

Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Jeanne Baird and Margaret Christin Andersen, Provo; 12 brothers and sisters. Wilford and Sam Baird, Salt Lake City; Edwin Baird, Ogden; Abner Baird, Payson; Asa Baird, Firth, Ida.; Reese Baird, Holladay. Dr. Chauncey Baird, San Bernardino, Calif., Hyrum and Orrin Baird, Provo; mrs. Chestina Baird Larsen, Plainfield, N. J.; Mrs. Eliza Sessions, Idaho Falls, Ida.; and Mrs. Zina Reed, Salt Lake City.

Services will be conducted Friday at one p. m. in L. D. S. Provo Fifth-Eighth ward chapel by D. Eccles Cameron, bishop of the Eighth ward. Friends may call Thursday from six to eight p. m. at the Berg mortuary, and Friday prior to services at the family home, 342 North Fifth East. Burial will be in Provo city burial park [Provo City Cemetery].
