Anna F. Bascue, 90, of 4028 Ebenezer Road, Bluemont, died Sunday, April 30, 2000, in Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Bascue was born Oct. 20, 1909, in Pittsburgh, the daughter of Edward and Lucinda Trussell Fowler. She retired after 27 years as a sales person for Woodward & Lothrop in Washington, D.C.

She was a member of Mountain Baptist Church and a charter member of Providence Chapel Home Extension Club.

She married Archie V. Bascue, who died in 1971.

Surviving are a son, Francis K. Bascue of White Post; two sisters, Irene Carroll of Alexandria and Lucy Payne of Bluemont; a brother, Gilbert Fowler of Bluemont; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Robert A. Bascue and Edward Bascue, are deceased.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, with the Rev. Charles D. Lumpkin officiating. Burial will be in Ketoctin Baptist Church Cemetery, Round Hill.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth D. Bascue, Rick Bascue, Phil Fowler, Bruce Foster, John Barlow, and Glenn Loveless.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
