Oliver died on Christmas morning at his home in Gays, his death being due to blood poisoning and nervous shock following the extraction of nearly all his teeth.
He was a native of Indiana having been born in that state in 1877. He had lived in Gays about thirty years. He is survived by his wife, four children, three brothers and one sister.
Burial will be in Branch Side cemetery.
