Appeal Democrat July 27, 1981:
Funeral services for retired Army Maj. Gen. Clarence H. Pease of Sacramento will be held Wednesday at 1pm at Lombard and Co. Mortuary in Sacramento. He was 66. Pease died Friday at home after a long illness. He was division commander for the 49th Infantry Division of the California National Guard. He had been an attorney for 32 years and a mason at the Corinthian Lodge in Yuba City. Survivors include his wife Ida of Sacramento; two daughters, Marion Del Marmal of Sacramento and Carole Pease-Sauterner of Berkeley; a son, Vander of Georgia; his mother, Edith Jackson of Yuba City, a brother Everett of Oakland; and five grandchildren. Burial will be in Sutter Cemetery.

Correction: Obit should have said "three surviving daughters" and "two surviving sons"
