Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Saulters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss for Wilson Evans, 77, of Prentiss who died March 30, 1991 at the Jefferson Davis County Hospital in Prentiss. The Revs. Joel Evanson and T.W. Henderson will officiate. Interment will be in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Simpson County. Mr. Evans was a native of Jefferson Davis County. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. He was a veteran of World War II and was a farmer. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Evans of Prentiss; one son, George Evans of Prentiss; one daughter, Norma Rush of Prentiss; one brother, J.W. Evans of Prentiss; three sisters, Susie Mae Thompson of New Hebron, Lou Ella Easterling of Mt. Olive and Edna Harralson of Prentiss; and five grandsons. Saluters-Moore Funeral Home in Prentiss is in charge of arrangements.
