Funeral services for Lillie Lammert Aanenson, 95, of Clifton, were held Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2004, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Clifton, the Rev. Herb Lammert and the Rev. Glenn Kramer officiating. The soloist at the services was Kelcey Albrecht. Interment followed at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. Aanenson died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004, in Clifton. She was born Nov. 21, 1908, near Crawford, to Henry and Martha Lammert. She had two brothers and three sisters. She moved with her parents to Bosque County in 1913, and attended school at Garnersville. She was baptized into the family of God on March 7, 1909, in McGregor. She was confirmed at Womack on March 25, 1923, and remained faithful to her commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ all her days. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Clifton. She married George Sanders Aanenson on July 4, 1937, at Saint Paul Lutheran near Clifton. To this union was born one child, Sandra Jean Aanenson. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Sanders Aanenson; parents Henry and Martha Lammert; brothers Raymond Lammert and Herbert Lammert; and sister Nelda Lammert Landgraf. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Jean and husband Monroe Janke of Clifton; grandson Greg Janke of Round Rock; sisters Clara Albrecht of Clifton, and Edna Mgebroff of Giddings; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were David Lammert of Temple, Sean Albrecht of Fort Worth, Clinton Albrecht of Clifton, Todd Townsend of Plano, Matt Holton of Waco, and Danny Lammert of Sagerton. Honorary pallbearers were Greg Janke, Colton Albrecht, Connor Albrecht, and Bobby Landgraf.
