Marion was the son of John and Mary LeGalley. Oone of three children, he had a brother, Henry, as well as his twin, Myron. Marion was a dentist like his twin . He married Mabel A. Nunmaker on 12 September 1900 in Louisville, Stark County, Ohio. She was the daughter of John C. and Alice Carver Nunmaker. Between 1904 and 1907, Marion and his wife moved their family to Peru, Indiana. After Marion's death, Mabel lived in Alliance, Ohio with her children: Donald(1902), Dorothy (1904), and Charles (1907).
