Wilton Tyler Durbin, 41, of 1630 Maple Ave., died at 2:10 a.m. Friday [August 4, 1967] at Owensboro-Daviess County Hospital after a long illness. Born in Daviess County on October 16, 1925, he had been in the management of grain elevators here and in other states, was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Immaculate Catholic Church. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Doris Durbin; four daughters, Doris Ann, Gail, Susan & Bonnie Durbin, all at home; three sons, Stephen, Byron & Martin Durbin, all at home; his parents, Mr. & Mrs. W.M. Durbin, Owensboro; and a brother, William R. Durbin, Louisville. A Solemn High Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Catholic Church. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery. Prayers will be said at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Friends may call at the Haley-McGinnis and Owensboro Funeral Home after 9 a.m. today.
