CHARLES MILLER OWEN of Montgomery, Alabama, a retired cotton company owner, died at 8:10 last night at Wallace Hospital - Memphis. He was 84. Mr. Owen was born in Cuthbert, Georgia and later lived in Atlanta and Montgomery. He was with the George F. McFadden Cotton Company for fifteen years before starting his own firm, the Owen Cotton Company in 1918. Mr. Owen had been retired fifteen years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an Episcopalian.
