Mrs. Anna L. Danaher, age 80, 201 N. Pine Street, died at 3:55 a.m. Sunday (3-7-1954) at St.. Rita's Hospital where she had been a patient since February 22, receiving treatment for a complication of diseases. She had been in failing health for several years. Mrs. Danaher is survived by two sons, Judge Thomas W. Danaher, St. Marys Auglaize County Probate Judge, and Attorney James B. Danaher, Cleveland, Chief Deputy in the Probate Court of Cuyahoga County; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Rose WIESER, St. Marys; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a brother, Thomas Delaney, Spencerville. A stepdaughter, Marie Danaher, three brothers and three sisters, Matthew, Charles and John Delaney, Mayme Delaney, Mrs. Elizabeth SAY and Mrs. Clara WYMAN preceded her in death. Mrs Danaher was the daughter of the late Thomas Patrick and Mary Eisenbice Delaney. She was born May 18, 1873, on Spencerville R.R. In 1898 she came to St. Marys from Spencerville and the following year, on November 8, 1899 she was married to James Danaher, who operated a livery stble here for years and who formerly had transported the mail between St. Marys and Wapakoneta. He died on October 12, 1905. The late Mrs. Danaher was an expert seamstress, taking pride in the quality of her workmanship. She was widely known in the community and had many friends. Mrs. Danaher was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic church and the Holy Rosary Altar Society...Calling will be at rthe Vore & Folk Funeral home .
