Brady--Gilbert Glenn, 72, member of a Brady pioneer family, died Saturday in an Aberdeen hospital.

Mr Glenn was the youngest of 13 children of William and Lucy Glenn. He was born and spent his entire life on the land which his family homesteaded at Brady.

He was a charter member of the Olympic View Grange and served 13 years as a commissioner for rural fire district 2. He and his wife, Faye, would have celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on February 26.

Surviving, besides the wife, are a son, Donald Glenn, Brady, a daughter, Mrs Milred Randich, Aberdeen; three brothers, Edwin, Elias, and YJ Glenn, all of Brady; two sisters, Mrs Nell Van Leer, Brady, and Mrs Hester Carter, Ashland, Oregon; 3 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the Whiteside chapel in Elma with Rev Glenn Tilton officiating. Vault interment followed in the Satsop cemetery.

Pallbearers were Martin Sundberg, Robert Smith, Clint Willis, Crosby Valentine, Art Hora, and Ralph Willis.
