Jack Allison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Allison of Mechanicstown, and Miss Irma Reigle of Harlem, were married on July 5 at Wellsburg, West Virginia.

Erma E. Slage, 90, formerly of Harlem Springs, died December 16 in the Sumsers Retirement Village at Canton after a lengthy illness. Born October 12, 1905, at Harlem Springs, she was a daughter of the late Alfred N. and Minnie Mae (Allmon) Riegle. She was a former employee of the former Lemoge China at Sebring. On June 27, 1939, she married Paul L. Slagel, who died June 27, 1990.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Ruth) Riehl of Louisville; two step-daughters, Mrs. Eleanor McKee of North Canton and Mrs. Glen (Doris) White of Canton; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Clayton and Francis Riegle and two sisters, Berdine Mearceau and Olga Cranston. Funeral services were held December 19 in the Allmon-Dugger Funeral Home at Carrollton with Rev. Mark Black officiating. Burial was in Harlem Springs Cemetery.
