He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosa Walker; two daughters, Mrs. Curtis Gateley of Danville and Ethel Walker of the home; two sons, Evan Powell of Houston, Texas and Noel Powell of Raleigh, N. G; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Anglin of Havana and Mrs. Baxter Smith of Atoke, Okla; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
