Bertha Linda Bennett married Fred Evans Higginbotham on 16 June 1919 at Eastland County, Texas. He preceded her in death. The couple moved to Graham in 1930 from Gorman.

Bertha Linda Higginbotham, 92, moved to Tyler in 1986. She was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church at Tyler.

Survived by one daughter - Mrs. Virginia Martin; two sons - Dick Higginbotham and Fred Higginbotham; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
