Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Theresa L. Barlage, age 85 of St. Cloud who passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at St. Benedict's Senior Community in St. Cloud. Reverend Matthew Crane will officiate. Burial will take place at Assumption Cemetery, St. Cloud.
Theresa was born on March 28, 1926 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Carl and Ann (Barry) DeLander. She graduated from Kimball High School and later graduated from Pauls Beauty School in Minneapolis in 1945. She worked as a beauty operator until 1948. Theresa married James A. Barlage on May 22, 1948 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Kimball. She was also employed at the St. Cloud Vocational School from 1972 to 1979.
She was a member of St. Anthony's Parish, Christian Women, Oblates of St. Benedict and a life member of the St. Cloud East Side VFW Post #4847 Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughters, Jane (Ken) Mueller of St. Cloud and Ann (Azzam) El-Kishaway of Eden Prairie; son, Robert of St. Cloud; ten grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Rundquist of St. Cloud and Alice (William) Jenkins of Hagerstown, Maryland; and brother, John (Grace) of Albertville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 1998; daughters, Judy Jasmer and Marilyn Deurmier.
