Obituary from the Illinois newspaper dated June 1970:

Mrs. Jessie B. Crumbaker, 86, died at Fairbury Hospital at 10 a.m. Monday. She had been a patient for a month.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home, with the Reverend Cecil Lockard and the Reverend George Russell officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

She was born near Fairbury, February 1, 1884, a daughter of Aaron and Sarah Wilhour Becker. She was married to Oliver W. Crumbaker, October 12, 1906, (*) at Chicago. They farmed near Fairbury until his death in 1959. She then moved to Fairbury.

Surviving are a son, Marshall of Dallas, Texas; and a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Kummer, of Auburn, Alabama.

A daughter preceded her in death.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Fairbury.
