Obituary from the Illinois newspaper dated 1959:

Oliver W. Crumbaker, 76, of Fairbury, died at 9 p.m. Monday at Fairbury Hospital, where he had been a patient for three weeks. He had been in poor health for six months.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home. The Reverend W. C. Jones will officiate, and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery.

He was born in Cropsey Township November 9, 1882, the son of Oliver M. and Sarah Stickler Crumbaker.

He attended rural schools and Brown's Business College in Bloomington. He farmed southwest of Fairbury. He married Jessie B. Becker October 12, 1905, in Chicago. She survives, together with one son, Marshall, Dallas, Texas; two daughters, Miss Edith Crumbaker, Dallas, and Mrs. Mabel Kummer, Auburn, Alabama; two sisters, Mrs. Alta Thomas, Fairbury, and Mrs. Cora Shepherd, Peoria; and four grandchildren.

One brother and one sister preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Methodist Church.
