Age 93, of Huber Heights, died Friday, January 16, 2004 at Spring Creek Nursing Home. She was born October 10, 1910, in Beattytown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Asa B. & Daisy Ella (Hensley) Davis. She was a member of the Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church of Huber Heights, and a 55 year member of Wayne Grange. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Janet & Jack Hosket of Huber Heights; three grandchildren, Jean & Vance McFarland of Riverside, Jack & April Hosket of Springfield, and Jennifer & Joe Snyder of Marysville; three great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was precede in death by her husbands Paul Ballentine, and Glen Shoup; brother Charles Davis; sister Frances Circle. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 20, 2004 at TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, & CHRISTMAS Funeral Home of New Carlisle. Rev. Jack Drodge will be officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
