Shirley Branco age 83 of Bellevue passed away Friday, Nov. 25, 2011 at he Bellevue Care Center. She was born Oct. 15, 1928 in Port Clinton the daughter of the late Russell & Thelma (Howell) Havener.


Shirley was a homemaker. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, Daughters of Isabella, Eagles Auxiliary # 490, and American Legion Post 46 Auxiliary. She enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking & canning, knitting, playing bingo and word puzzles.


She is survived by her children, George (Joanne) Branco, Jr. of Westfield Center, Rita (Randy Bradbury) Fry of Bellevue, Paul (Brenda) Branco of West Chester, Paula (Richard) Hackenburg of Bellevue, Mike (Gurli – "Jill") Branco of Bellevue, Vincent (Stephanie) Branco of Fremont, Brian (Kim) Branco of Bellevue, Randy (Cindie) Branco Bellevue; daughter – in law, Karen Branco; 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents her husband George Branco, Sr. whom she married Jan. 25, 1947 in Bellevue, son Mark Branco; infant daughter, Rose Maria Branco; brothers, Norm Havener & Benny Havener and a brother in infancy and her sister Marilyn Eddy preceded her in death.


Friends will be received Sunday, Nov. 27 from 4 – 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where the Rosary will be held at 4 pm. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, 11am at Immaculate Conception Church 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
