Tolman Christensen Nusink
Laura Jean Nusink, 82, of Orem, passed away March 6, 2012, at her home in Orem. She was born November 1, 1929, a daughter of Clarence Christensen and Allene Elmer in Payson, Utah.
Laura was a gifted artist and a wonderful cook. She enjoyed get together and her house was always open and all were welcome. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include her children, Sandra Swensen, Janet Barnes, Carol (Terry) Olsen, Connie (Cliff) Pike and Alan Tolman, her step-children Shawn (Sue) Nusink and Jona (Doug) Curry. She is also survived by her sister Deanna (Gordon) Hodgson, 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren, many step grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her 3 husbands, 1 sister, 1 brother. She touched the hearts of many people through her hospitality and generous heart.
The family would like to thank the staff at Alpha Omega Home Health for the loving care that was shown to Laura.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sundberg-Olpin Mortuary, 495 South State Street, Orem. A visitation will be held 11:45 a.m to 12:45 p.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The National Parkinson's Foundation.
