Helen Pearl Hosey, of Bowdon, Georgia, passed away on December 19, 2009. She was 76. Mrs. Hosey was born in Carroll County, Georgia on August 24, 1933 to the late Luther and Cassie Huddleston Laster. She was a retired seamstress from Sewell's Clothing and was a member of Sandy Flat Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Hosey, and her sister, Rosa Lee Laster Jackson. Survivors include two sons of Bowdon; three daughters; four sisters; and 14 grandchildren.
Funeral services held on December 22 at Sandy Flat Baptist Church with Rev. Wayne Morris, Rev. Ralph Caldwell, and Rev. Homer Wellborn officiating. Mrs. Hosey's grandsons are pallbearers and Joe Samples honorary pallbearer. Interment in the church cemetery. Rainwater Funeral Home, Bowdon, GA in charge of arrangements.
