OPLIN -- Ida Mae Nobles, 91, of Grand Junction, Colorado and formerly of Oplin, died Thursday, January 29, 2004 at her home.
Graveside services will be Thursday, February 5, 2004 at the Oplin Cemetery with Rev. H.B. Terry officiating under the direction of Bailey Funeral Home of Clyde.
Mrs. Nobles was born January 2, 1913 in Runnels County to Carl and Alma (Burrow) Beaver. She married Arlie Nobles on August 23, 1929 in Mason. They lived for many years in the Oplin Community until Mr. Nobles' death in 1967. She is survived by four nieces, Barbara Felix of Grand Junction, CO, Kathleen Bates of Lone Oak, TX, Judy Freytag of Bella Vista, AR, and Patsy June of Green Valley, AZ; and several nephews and nieces-in-law including Kathryn Thornton of Abilene and Lucille Ford of Ovala.

Mrs. Nobles was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie; a daughter, Virginia Nobles; one sister, Helen Casabier; two brothers, Jack and Fuller Beaver; and two step-brothers, Audrey and E.J. Cranford.
