Mr Martin attended Tyrone Grade School & Summersville High School. He entered the Navy in Jan 1944, where he spent 2 years. He married Joan Ramsour 14 Mar 1950. He worked several years for Caterpillar in Peoria, IL. He owned & operated Ozark Motor Co. He attended the Hope Baptist Church at Ozark. He loved to work in his shop, fish & watch the Cardinals.
Surviving are sons: Ronald, Ricky & Edward; sisters: Imogene Elmore of Houston & Virginia Parrish of Nixa; 6 grkids & 3 grgrkids.
He was also preceded by his infant daughter.
