Viola "Ole" Pesicka, 69, of 1810 N. Van Eps Ave., died Friday, June 4, 1993, at McKennan Hospital. Viola Barnhart was born April 10, 1924, in Sioux Falls. She grew up in Sioux Falls where she attended school. She married George Pesicka on Jan. 27, 1941, in Luverne, Minnesota. She was a lifetime resident of Sioux Falls. Her husband died July 21, 1978. Survivors include two sons: George Jr. and Michael, both of Sioux Falls; five daughters: Catherine Liesinger, Sioux Falls; Patsy Mulroy, Beresford; Shirlene Heffele, Sioux Falls; Fanny Spielmann, Colton; and Pam Stoops, Sioux Falls; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two brothers: John Barnhart and Jake Jacobson, both of Sioux Falls; and two sisters: Patricia Brokaw, Ariz.; and Elizabeth Haffner, Sioux Falls. Services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, with burial at Hills of Rest Memorial Park. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today in the funeral home.
