Zella Jane Giles Moulton, 75, of 816 W. 500 N., Provo, died Saturday at a Provo hospital of a brain hemorrhage.

She was born Sept. 28, 1887, in Heber City, a daughter of Fredrick [Frederick] and Sarah Jane Bond Giles. She married William Alma Moulton Dec. 24, 1906, in Heber City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Mr. Moulton died April 19, 1956.

Educated in the Heber schools, Mrs. Moulton made her home in Heber following her marriage. Her husband worked as a farmer there. In 1920, Mrs. Moulton moved to Provo where she and her husband established the Moulton Market on west Center Street. She worked in the market until 1943 when they retired.

An active member of the LDS Church, she served as an MIA counselor and class leader in the Relief Society. A visiting teacher for 42 years, she had a perfect teaching record for 39 years.

Surviving are three sons and a daughter, Darel G. Moulton and Glen W. Moulton; both of Provo; Vard L. M. Moulton, Lindon, and Mrs. Don (Wilda) Giles, Provo; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a brother and two sisters, Alva Giles, Heber; Nona Giles, Salt Lake City and Mrs. John F. (Mabel) Turner, Santa Ana, Calif.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel with Bishop Arland Olsen of the Rivergrove Second Ward officiating. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary in Provo Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 and Wednesday prior to services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
