Violet M. (Wilson) Watson, 90, formerly of 44 Castle St., died March 13 in an East Longmeadow nursing home. Born in Hartford, she lived here for many years. She was a member of the Women's Republican Club from 1946, and a longtime member of the Wachogue Congregational Church. Her husband, William H. Watson, died in 1965. Mrs. Watson leaves two sons, Donald A. of Farmington Hills, Mich., and David W. of Saugerties, N.Y.; two daughters, Eleanor M. Christie of Enfield, and Eileen R. Russis of Barre, Vt.; 14 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Saturday morning Byron's Allen Street Funeral Home, with burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. There are no calling hours, and memorial contributions may go to the Wachogue Congregational Church, 80 Arvilla St., Springfield, 01118.
