Colleen Kelly Gottula (1957-2011). Jesus wrapped his arms around Kelly Gottula and brought her to heaven on December 27, 2011. Kelly was born to Harland ("Lucky") and Marjorie (nee Van Dorsten) Gottula on October 3, 1957 joining two loving sisters, Rhonda and Vickie. The family spent many wonderful years at the Gottula ranch at the western edge of Hemet, California. She attended Winchester Elementary School and graduated from Hemet High School in 1975 and attended Pacific Lutheran College. During her school years, Kelly worked as a lifeguard at the pool in Murrieta. In 1979, Kelly married the love of her life, Tom Cunningham. Kelly began a long and fulfilling career in the Services sector. Her career took her to Virginia with Marriott during the 1990s and finally home to Hemet where she was the General Manager of Merrill Gardens at Sunwest Village. Kelly was a devout member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hemet and brought a smile to everyone she met. She is survived by her husband Tom, her mother and two sisters, stepson Gary, stepdaughter Tracie and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and aunts and uncles.
