Charles F. Blessing, 500 Third Avenue, SW, a retired farmer, died in Mercy hospital Sunday morning. He was born Feb. 13, 1874, at Lisbon and lived in Linn county all his life.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are three sons, Arnold E. of Waterloo, Leonard R. and Howard W. Blessing of Cedar Rapids; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline M. Jones, Mrs. Gayle G. King, Mrs. Ruth M. White, and Miss Naomi May Blessing, all of Cedar Rapids. A sister, Mrs. Laura Albright of Los Angeles, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Services will be conducted in the Turner chapel at 11 a.m. Wednesday by the Rev. H. G. Schwegler. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial cemetery.
