OBITUARY: Press Enterprise, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, Monday, September 9, 1991
Rachel M. Laubach, 78, a resident of 360-B W. Fifth St., for three years, died Saturday at the Bloomsburg Health Care Center, where she had resided for three weeks. She had previously lived on Market Street for 38 years.
Born July 9, 1913 in Jamison City, she was the daughter of the late Harry W. and Carolyn McHenry Miller.
Mrs. Laubach was employed by Bloomsburg University where she worked in the library, Bloomsburg Bank and Columbia Trust, Bloomsburg Public Library and Magee Carpet Company at different times during her working years.
Shew as a 1932 graduate of the Bloomsburg High School.
She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church.
Her husband, Carlton "Smokey" Laubach, died Jan. 13, 1990.
Surviving are a son, Stephen C. Laubach, Bloomsburg, one grandson; a brother, Robert Miller, Bloomsburg; and a sister, Emmy Jansen, Las Vegas, Nev.
Memorial services will be announced by the Allen Funeral Home, Market and Eighth streets, Bloomsburg.
