BULLEN, John A. – 719 S. Franklin Ave., age 75, died Saturday, November 22, 1980, at St. Joseph Hospital [Flint]. A Memorial Service will be held 7:30 PM Tuesday at Brown Funeral Home, 1616 Davison Rd., Mr. Merton L. Gilbert officiating. Inurnment Sunset Hills Mausoleum. Friends desiring may make contributions to First Church of Christ Scientist Building Fund.
Mr. Bullen was born in Caro, Mich., May 27, 1905, and had lived in Flint since 1917. He was united in marriage to Eleanor Kay Ramlow in 1937. He attended First Church of Christ Scientist, a member of Pierce Park Senior Citizens, Antique Automobile Club of Michigan, VMCCA and Flint Outboard Skippers Club. He was employed by Buick Motor Division for 31 years, retiring in 1967.
Surviving are: wife, Eleanor Kay Ramlow-Bullen; daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Richard Carter of Davison; son and daughter-in-law, John David and Mary Bullen of Fenton; 4 grandchildren, Nicolas and Laura Carter, Beth Ann and Margaret Hanks; sister, Caroline Marshall of Flint; nieces and nephews. His sister, Evelyn Peterson, preceded him in death in 1980.
